Sara Wayne Van Doninck, age 78, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012. Sara was born November 23, 1933 to the late Nicholas and Florence (Swanson) Fostiak.

Sara was a very down to earth person with a big heart. She loved creating fun wherever she went and was especially known for her porch parties. Sara enjoyed living life to its fullest while being surrounded by her family and her many friends.

Sara is survived by her daughter, Betty Hill and her husband, David of Great Mills, MD; two sons, George (Nick) Walters and his wife, Donna of Elkton, MD, and Robert W. Van Doninck of Bradenton, FL; four grandchildren, Stacy (Walters) Moody and her husband, Ron, Nicholas A. Walters and his wife, Jessica, Dustin L. Walters and his wife, Ashley, and Christine Porter and her husband, Kenny. Sara is also survived by nine great grandchildren and her two sisters, Janet Kendal of Elkton, MD, and Florence (Nikkie)Oaks of Bradenton, FL.

Including her parents, Nicholas and Florence Fostiak, Sara was also predeceased in death by her loving husband Robert C. Van Doninck and her sister Maryanna Hawk.
