Roy "Rusty" G. Viars, Jr., age 54, of Joppa, MD passed away on November 15, 2012 at his residence. Rusty was born in Elkton, MD on November 1, 1958 to the late Roy G. Viars, Sr. and Ruth R. Viars.
Rusty was a Veteran serving in the U. S. Army from July 19, 1976 to February 13, 1982. He enjoyed and cherished time spent with his family, especially with his granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie P. Viars of Joppa, MD; sons, Matt B. Viars and Aaron C. Viars both of Edgewood, MD; mother, Ruth R. Viars of Elkton, MD; brothers, Paul T. Keffer of Newark, DE and Scott R. Viars of Elkton, MD; granddaughter, Sydney Page Viars; and daughter in law, Heather L. Viars of Joppa, MD.
A service will be held at 11:00 am on November 20, 2012 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may call starting at 9:30am. Burial to follow at Gilpin Manor Cemetery.
