Roy D. Rogers, 69, of Elkton, MD, passed away February 14, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Giles County, VA, Roy was the son of the late James and Hazel Harless Rogers. He worked at Schult Mobile Home for 23 years and MBNA for 15 years before retiring.
Roy was the devoted husband of Reva Jolene (Van Dyke) Rogers for 36 years; the loving father of Jerry Rogers and his wife Gretchen of Newark, DE; Roy Lee Rogers of Newark and Sylvia Marie Rogers of Elkton; adopted father of Sandra Price of Virginia and loving grandfather of Liam, Zadie, Erin, Sabrina, Ashley and Theresa. He is also survived by his brothers James E. Rogers and wife Shirley and Carroll L. Rogers and his wife Ellen and his sisters Pat and Gene.
According to his wishes, services will be private.
