Mark William Guethler, 54, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away suddenly at his home August 22, 2012.

Born in Baltimore, MD on November 21, 1957, Mark was the son of the late Raymond Max Guethler, Jr. and Gladys Mueller Guethler. A 1975 graduate of Rising Sun High School, Mark was an independent trucker and a very talented diesel mechanic. He enjoyed farming and hunting.

He is survived by his sons Brian and Jacob Guethler of Rising Sun; three brothers, Max Guethler and his wife Theresa of Maine, John Guethler and his wife Julie, and Kurt Guethler and his wife Cindy, both of Rising Sun; two grandchildren, Natalee and Makenna; and his grandparents in law Pat and Dale Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday September 1, 2012 at West Nottingham Cemetery in Colora, MD.
