Marilyn Diane Monte, age 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Marilyn was born December 16, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Elmer and Emmamelia Prather.

Marilyn enjoyed reading and writing poetry, baking, and playing pool; but her passion in life was spending time with, and being surrounded by her loving family.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Richard Monte of Elkton, MD; two sons, Christopher Jablonsky and his wife, Kelly of Conowingo, MD, and Steve Garner of Augusta, Georgia; one daughter, Lisa Jablonsky-Stemple and her husband, Daniel of Aberdeen, MD; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two sons, Brian Garner and Greg Jablonsky; and one grandchild, Michael Garner.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
