Jennie J. (Klukiewicz-Kokary) McCall, age 101, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, August 21st at Millcroft Nursing Care.

Jennie was born in Philadelphia on January 7, 1916, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Klukiewicz. She was predeceased by her four siblings, Laura Nixon, Helen Burton, Stella Lewis and Alex Klukiewicz.

Jennie spent her early childhood in Philadelphia before moving to Elkton, MD. She worked for the Elkton Sparkler before marrying her beloved husband of 62 years, Raymond H. McCall, Sr., who was predeceased in December 1997. They had several dairy farms in the Newark area. Jennie was a member of the Christiana United Methodist Church. Jennie's family will always remember her as a loving, caring, and selfless mother whose greatest joy was providing for her family. Jennie was a wonderful cook and delighted in sharing the bounties of her garden, of which she made so many amazing meals and pies for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting beautiful doilies for family and friends. Her children and grandchildren's love for her is a testament of the life she led and the wonderful woman she was. Her life's legacy will be cherished for generations to come.

Jennie is survived by her three sons, Raymond (Jim) McCall (Pat) of Newark, Charles McCall (Nancy) of Newark, and Dale McCall of Bear and daughter, Terry Early (Mike) of Newark. Also 10 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Vickie Bush (Bill), Cindy McCall, James McCall (Chrissy), Mark McCall (Anna), Cheryl Sisofo (Nick), Denise Willett (Chris), Dan McCall (Elaine), Jennifer Early, Kristen Yezdimer (Kevin) and Michael Early. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, along with a sister-in-law, Lydia Klukiewicz and niece, Catherine Bowen, both of Elkton, MD.

The family wishes to thank Mary from Somerford Place, and Seth and the caregivers at Millcroft Nursing Care for their exceptional care and kindness during her stay with them.

A Service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, August 25, 2017 at R. T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE, 19711, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:30 am. Burial to follow at White Clay Creek Cemetery, Newark DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jennie's memory may be made to Christiana United Methodist Church, Christiana, DE. c/o R. T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE, 19711.
