Obituary

Harold Davis Hall, 84, of Newark, Delaware, went home to his Creator on July 11, 2018. He was born February 14, 1934 in Milford, Delaware to the late John Causey Hall and Mary Davis Hall.

A loving and devoted husband and father, Harold lived most of his life in Newark, where he enjoyed bowling when he was younger and loved the old TV westerns.
He owned Brookside News Stand for over forty years until he retired in 1996.

He loved to travel and was able to spend over 3 months touring Alaska and Canada, a dream he always wanted to accomplish. He loved his constant companion, a little Chihuahua named Chia. She always looked out for him and was by his side even at his crossing.

In addition to his parents Harold is preceded in death by a daughter Debra Kim, and two sons, Michael and Steven. He is survived by Christina Hall, the love of his life to whom he was married for 25 years; sons, H. David Hall (Donna) and John Hall; grandchildren, Christopher Hall and Joan N. Meginniss; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald and John Lynn; several nieces and nephews; step children, Paul Skinner and Vanessa Skinner; and several step grandchildren.

A Celebration of Harold's life will be held August 11th, 2018 from 1 pm-4 pm at Family residence - 531 Hambleton LA, Newark DE, 19702

Family asks in lieu of flower please make donations in Harold's name to "St Labre Indian School" or "Faithful Friends Animal Society", charities both he and his wife supported, and send in care of R.T.
