Francis Joseph Asti, 87, of Elkton, MD, born July 30, 1931, in Penn Hills, PA, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family.
Fran was a chemical engineer for DuPont in South Carolina, then Delaware. After early retirement from DuPont, he immediately started his second career with Greene Tweed & Co in Pennsylvania.

Fran was a man of lists and projects. He had lists for everything, even lists that referenced other lists. He was always going somewhere, buying items for his next project. He loved spending time at "camp" in Tionesta, PA, collecting and fixing antique cars, purchasing/rehabbing/renting apartments, visiting relatives/friends in America and Italy, and keeping up with political news. He loved music all his life and had his own dance band, The Moonlighters, for over 20 years. He was a driving force for the Elkton High Band Boosters and other local charities. Devoted to protecting his family, Fran always provided a strong foundation, support and vision for them in whatever they needed. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Adeline (nee Mucci) Asti, brother, Raymond Asti, and daughter, Pauline Asti.
