Caitlin Elizabeth Goodfellow, age 26 of Elkton, Maryland, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. She was born on July 10, 1993 in Camden, New Jersey to David Goodfellow and Kathy Dye.

Caitie graduated from West Deptford High School in New Jersey in 2011. She was working on receiving her nursing degree from Delaware Technical Community College in Wilmington, Delaware. Caitlin pursued her career in the medical field as a Pediatric Nursing Assistant at A.I. DuPont Hospital. She was a music enthusiast who enjoyed all types of music and attended many live concerts. She was also a self-taught pianist, who loved playing songs by her favorite artist of all time, Lana del Rey. Her love for travel started at a young age; she journeyed all over from the Caribbean to the Pacific coast, to Ireland. Caitie was such a magnetic person that she made friends with everyone she met, her friendships now spanning the entire US. Caitie was a huge fan of Star Wars, The Office, putting hot sauce on everything, and anything fashionable. She was also obsessed with her beloved dog, Lana.

Caitie is survived by her mother, Kathy Dye of Elkton, Maryland; father, David Goodfellow of Moorestown, New Jersey; brother, Alexander Goodfellow of Vergennes, Vermont; sister, Eleanor Goodfellow of Richmond, Virginia; step-father, David Klatchko of Newark, Delaware; step-sisters: Samantha Klatchko of Wilmington, Delaware and Nicole Klatchko of Chicago, Illinois; uncles, Clay Dye and Sean Storey of Richmond, Virginia, and maternal grandmother, Jean Dye of Richmond, Virginia.

Caitlin was preceded in death by both of her grandfathers: Bill Dye and Frank "Pappy" Goodfellow as well as her uncle, Andrew Goodfellow.

A celebration of Caitlin's life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921 where family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to "Voices of Hope", "Planned Parenthood", or "HRC" in support of LGBTQ issues and send in care of the funeral home.
