Beatrice 'Bea' Mae McMullen, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Union Hospital at the age of 102. Bea was born in Hopewell, PA to the late Clyde G. and Nancy L. (Starr) Pyle on March 3, 1909.

She travelled often and visited Mount Rushmore, Hawaii, England, Ireland, Scotland and Germany. She watched little television - the weather, the Baltimore Orioles and once in a while 'a good program'.
