You could play and sing anything under the sun just like an Arch Angel. Your perfection was exquisite and your beauty was soul-deep. I love you with all my heart and soul and hope one day when my time comes that you'll be one of those to meet me in the bye - and bye. Those that feel so deep always hurt the most. Your Mom will heal, but the World will hurt for the loss of you.

Allen truly was one of a kind. Everybody he knows loves him and his laid back easy going character. He was so easy to talk to and love. I miss you, but we will meet again. Allen, Sr., Donna, Della, Mindy and all of his brothers and sisters please know you are not alone.

Allen was one of the only people that I would sing karaoke duets with. We sang together probably 100 times ... And although we would look through the book of song choices for what seemed like eternity, we always chose one of two songs. Either "Summer Lovin" from the movie "Grease" or "Picture" by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. He was always such a pleasure to be around. I'll always remember him. I'm blessed to be able to say that he was my friend. He will be deeply missed by many. May God bless his family and friends during this troubling time. -- Kelly Conroy

Lifting you all up in prayer during this time.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words (1 Thes. 4:13-18

Allen was a great guy. I met him when he moved to Indiana. He answered an ad my band, elemental, had posted on an internet forum. We all instantly hit it off with Allen. He was a very talented guy. Very easy to get along with and always happy. Even though he was looking to play guitar, we had an opening for a bassist and he gladly accepted the position. A short time later Allen moved into my place. We had many nights staying up playing GTA, and Halo on the Xbox. Lots of writing, listening to and appreciating music. There's just so many good memories and fun times to reflect on. I'll always cherish those times.
When Allen left the band and moved back to Maryland, we were sad to see him go but he had some things he needed to take care of so, we all wished him well. I reconnected with Allen a some time later when we had a short term opening in my other band, Rains. Again, he stepped up and brought his A game. I'll truly miss Allen. He was one of a kind. A "horse of a different color". It makes me sad to know that his son will never get to know him. It makes me sad for his family and all his friends he has left behind and it makes me sad for future fans of the music he would have created. Allen, I'll miss you, my friend. Rest in peace and SHINE ON!
