Hi Blair, so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I was visiting mine this weekend when she told me about reading of your mom in the Whig. She had a long happy life. Hope you are well. Rich Crothers

Ms. Scarbath was a wonderful teacher and coach. I was a part of the teams that she coached at North East High School. She not only coached us about the sports, but coached us about life. She took interest in each one of us. Great mentor, lovely lady. My condolences to her family,

To Jack & Family,
Ann & I taught with Lynn in the early 1950" at North East high School: She was a remarkable lady and teacher. All you have to do is hear her name and you smile.

40 years a Catholic priest now with close to as many assignments, I've never seen a woman's smile as beautiful as yours, Lynn and know that I will ever be on my knees thanking the Lord for bringing me to your side as you closed your eyes to this life opening them in Heaven.

Dear Jack, Tom, Blair and family
Debbie and I are so sorry for your loss. Lynn is heaven's gain. Lynn was very inspirational to me as a young man. She was always physically and mentally fit and she led a life of service which benefitted our community and the greater good. She also assisted me in creating an amazing soccer team back in the early 90's when she assessed the athletic skills of her elementary students at RS and would say John you may want to call that one We had some cheerful laughs as this small group of boys from RSES crushed every team we played in Harford County. We couldn't have done it without her!!
She will be missed.
I would've remiss not to mention her competitiveness! Volleyball on Sunday nights with my Dad at RS high. As I shot basketball I would hear them dive and hit the floor to make the save! She always set the example of giving each task her best shot. I hope her grandchildren follow suit!

Such an amazing woman who had given us all a great deal of unconditional love and guidance throughout the years. My Aunt Lynn had the best smile and laugh and was always there for me and my family. She will be missed tremendously but know she is having a great time with my mom right now, Dale Scarbath Trapnell. I love you Aunt Lynn!

Lynn was so special , loved, admired, and respected by everyone she came in contact with. A loss beyond words for the Rising Sun and University of Maryland community. If ever there was an angel on Earth, it was Lynn. Now, she is among the Angels in Heaven. To Jack and the Scarbath family go our thoughts and prayers
